Client:
Our client for this project was a local Bellingham festival, "Fire and Story". Our project was displayed on the side of a silo during the festival.
Collaboration:
As a group of five, each one of us participated in each role of the animation process, from moving the characters to art directing our film shots.
I played a big role in directing scenes and film angles along with set placement, ideation and storyboarding.
Individual:
My individual role was set designer. I hand crafted the set design with a cardboard base that was painted and collaged with watercolor and paper. The trees were structured with wire to stand up in order to function as moveable objects for different scenes. For the trees, I made my own texture out of paint.
